The following story outlines a recent example of
the IPS business plan. While we were attending the National Plastics Exposition
in Chicago, numerous conversations with exhibitors developed. Most of the
conversation proved to be a clinic in uncovering these corporation's hidden
strengths. Several potential business relationships emerged from these dialogs.
One in particular proved emblematic of the IPS business architecture concept.
The Corporation in question is a Canadian manufacturer. Following our meeting in
Chicago several open mined phone conversations ensued. Both parties decided a
personal meeting at the factory in Canada made sense, creatively. In depth
conversation revealed the existence of un-tapped intellectual property. We
immediately thought that this was important and valuable technology. During
subsequent meetings IPS Directors presented a development time line. We stressed
chronological activities, involving patent position, production capacity,
licensing and valuation. This Sales and Marketing proposal has led to a national
marketing campaign. In summary, IPS has created new and very
exciting business opportunities for our clients, capturing greater market share.
